A lot of photo booth pricing in Sacramento works the same way: a low headline number, then a list of things you didn’t know you needed. Extra hours cost more. A backdrop costs more. Props cost more. Travel past a few miles costs more. By the time you’ve booked what you actually wanted, the “starting at” price has moved a lot.
We priced it the other way
We run one setup: a 24 megapixel DSLR, three hours of unlimited sessions, a custom overlay with your event’s name, a backdrop we bring and set up, and the first 25 miles free. It’s $599 flat, stated up front, for the full three hours with everything above included. A $99 deposit holds your date, and the balance is due before the event.
The only real add-ons
Extra hours, travel beyond the first 25 miles, and outdoor power if your venue doesn’t have an outlet nearby. That’s the whole list. No package tiers to compare, no props menu, no upsell during setup.
Why that matters more than the number itself
The point isn’t that $599 is the lowest price you’ll find. It’s that it’s the actual price. If a quote looks cheaper than that, ask what’s included and what isn’t, because the difference usually shows up as a separate line item once you’re already locked in.
If you’re still comparing options
Quality and cost aren’t really opposites here. A camera and lighting setup that produces photos people actually want to keep costs something to run properly, and a flat price means you know that cost before you sign anything. Check your date and see what it actually comes to for your event.
